While talking with a friend about Hovercraft one day, and on the subject of engines, he mentioned that he thought he had a good engine for the craft - only problem was it was in an old Jetski, and it needed a coil. Well it turned out the engine didn't need a coil, but the Jet Ski did need a little work to run. I have been using the Jet Ski as a Jet Ski since then, bombing around in our pond first (ew... - I still can't believe I did that) and the a local lake.

On my first trip to an unfamiular lake I hit a rock, splitting the hull open, and giving me enough time to say a 4 letter F word, then gasp for air before hitting the water - and bouncing. We fixed up the hull that night and were out in the water again the next day :-D

Now the person that sold me the Jet Ski has a newer, faster, more powerful one - and we occasionally go and play around on lakes when we can find the time. All in all they are a lot of fun, and require a lot more skill to opperate that the "sit-down" type of watercraft.
 Jet Skiis: Jet Skiin fun!

Info related to Dewie's Jet Ski
Well we finally got out on the JetSkiis this September and had a bit of fun. Both machines gave us a bit of trouble the first run out - but we worked bugs out of both. Currently my 440 is stalling somehow for some reason - but it is now too cold to be out on the skiis, and I have hurt my foot again (stupid motorcycle accident last year....)
