Well I bought a set of crash bars on Ebay for $40 - they were brand new, though not designed for my particular motorcycle. Today I did some modifications to the lower brackets and found a set of former headlight mounts off of a Kawasaki Dirt Bike to use as upper brackets. |
Using the Kawasaki I also mounted a set of round driving lights I had on the bike. I can't descide if I like the whole setup or not - the bars stick out on the sides pretty far, but they have to in order for me to be able to use the cruiser pegs. Time will tell if I keep them or not.
