I was fixing a trailer (making new sides) for a friend of mine when I got curious as to why in the world it would have casters mounted vertically just behind the wheels, and a crease in the middle of the deck. I discovered that the deck folds in half, and you can stand the whole trailer up on end for easy storage in a garage. |
Well I did this in front of my car, only I did not secure down the bottom part of the folded deck. When everything arrived at vertical the folding part of the deck came smashing down onto my car. Thankfully the hood was open on the car - I would have had a lot more work to do had it been closed.
